Hockey Programs

Learn to Play Hockey ( New Jersey Devils)

Learn to Play Hockey classes are for any skater, 12 and under, looking to apply their skating training to the sport of ice hockey. This program introduces skaters to progressively harder elements and game situations.

Skaters may register for Learn to Play Hockey after passing Learn to Skate Basic 2 or with approval from Pat Pellegrino.

Learn to Play Hockey classes are lead by Learn to Play Director Pat Pellegrino and Flemington Fury Staff Coaches to provide an excellent coach/player ratio.

New Jersey Hunterdon Bears

The Hunterdon Bears are dedicated to the development and education of boys and girls looking to further develop their skills and their love of ice hockey in a highly competitive environment. Our goal is to promote team play, a competitive spirit, and good sportsmanship. Using principles from USA Hockey’s ADM and Hockey Canada’s CDM, our staff works to develop and progress players' skills, work ethic, and discipline. We aim to represent our club with pride both on and off the ice as we provide players with the opportunity to develop at every level. As players mature and progress through the Bears program, there are increased opportunities to compete at the highest level.

New Jersey Bears (EHL) & (EHLP)

Located in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions of the United States, the Eastern Hockey League (EHL) and its 23 teams celebrate its 11th season in 2023-24. For the past seven years, the EHL has finished as the leader in the Direct-To-College Advancement at the Division II and III levels.

Along with the NCAA Commitments, the EHL has also helped over 100 players work their way up to higher levels of junior play. This area of advancement is also not limited to just players, as the EHL has seen several coaches make the jump up the ladder as well.

The Eastern Hockey League Premier (EHLP) serves as a developmental division for the EHL. The EHLP celebrates the start of its 9th season under the EHL this fall, with 16 teams split up between 3 different divisions. The league exists to help younger players develop and prepare for the next step in their journey.

The EHL's sub-division has done a great job promoting players up the ranks of junior hockey, and is responsible for a number of the league's NCAA Commitments. Over 400 players have developed at this level and then made their jump up to the EHL.

Adult Hockey

The Ice House Adult League is designed to provide a safe and sportsmanlike environment in which hockey players of all abilities can enjoy the competition and camaraderie of organized hockey.
